Stacey,
I hope the trip continues to go well – I enjoy your posts and photos very much. The link below is to my Christmas Card to you and my other friends this year. It was developed with the Earthbook team. It is unique because it saves an individual’s carbon reduction commitment (in tons reduced per individual) and aggregates it with commitments of other individuals. This shows the POWER of MANY individuals acting together to address the most significant environmental issue facing the earth.
I do admit, it is a little different for a Holiday Card, i.e. a gift to the Earth, but it is for a very good cause and I hope you feel good using it (it takes about 2 minutes). Please feel free to share with your family and friends–the more individuals that demonstrate that they are willing to take a small step to fight climate change, the more powerful the message becomes. Earthbook is about connecting friends of the earth, and our objective is to demonstrate the POWER of MANY individuals acting together. Merry Christmas, Mike! I’m so glad that you’re enjoying the posts and photos. And definitely let me know if you’d like to use any more of my photos for Earthbook. I’d be honored. Have a wonderful holiday, and thanks for sending along the card. It’s a great reminder of what we all can do.
Stacey, Merry Christmas!! Thanks for the kind comments and I would love to use more of your photos- let me set up a few albums of special places from our special field reporter – and I will let you know which ones before I post. I will credit you as the photographer unless you have other thoughts. mike
